Harmony H 49 Stratotone Jupiter 1963

The Jupiter is one of the great forgotten rock ‘n’ roll guitars. A hollow body, despite it’s appearance, it’s light as a feather and the craftsmanship is delightful. Rather than pickups Harmony employed DeArmond microphones and there were many sound blending possibilities with the array of volume and tone controls offered. Despite it’s relative obscurity, it remains one of the most unique sounding of the electric guitars of the period.
