Mersey Me! A Liverpool Lad on the Loose in the Swingin' 60's

From The Archives…Rockin Horse

Here are couple of tunes from my time with Rockin’ Horse. Though the album was not well promoted/received at the time- probably due to its proximity to the Beatles breakup and obvious Merseybeat roots the album has enjoyed a cult following for some time and was re-released in 2004. The critics have praised it as the original “power-pop” record. It’s obviously stood the test of time.

Have a listen and let me know what you think!

You can hear more about  Rockin’ Horse in Mersey Me! A Liverpool Lad On The Loose In The Swingin’ 60’s. I contributed harmonies, 12-string guitar, piano, Hammond, and Wurlitzer electric piano to the mix.
